Malek is a Master's student in International Law whose life is shaped by her convictions, her work-study program, and her ambition to achieve great things. When she is selected to represent her university at a prestigious moot court competition in Montreal, she meets her teammate: Manil.

Calm, reserved, and remarkably kind, Manil is everything she did not expect. What was meant to be nothing more than an academic partnership centered on international justice gradually evolves into an unexpected personal and spiritual journey, shaped by study sessions at Café +82 Paris and walks through the Luxembourg Gardens.

In a society where Malek constantly navigates prejudice while striving for representation, Manil becomes the ally who truly listens. Together, they discover that the law is not merely a collection of texts, but a tool for defending voices that too often go unheard.

A wholesome, realistic, and heartfelt Muslim romance, where two souls come to realize that fate may have bound them together long before they ever noticed.

Nour B. wrote the novel "Deux cœurs liés"  because she could not see herself reflected in the romantic stories most commonly portrayed. She wanted to tell a sincere love story, one rooted in her values and free from many of the narratives traditionally glorified in mainstream romance.
