The Tunisian Chkobba, inspired by the Italian Scopa, crossed the Mediterranean before becoming deeply rooted in Tunisian daily life. More than a simple card game, it represents a warm and popular tradition : one that brings together generations, families, and neighborhoods around the same table. Sinda Battikh offers a contemporary reinterpretation of this cultural classic by redesigning its cards with figures dressed in traditional Tunisian attire, inspired by local garments, colors, and gestures.
