Amel Triki
Photographer
Paris, Tunis, Sfax
"What stands out in Amel Triki’s work is not only the quality of her images, but also the way she looks at the world. Her photography is guided by a deep curiosity about people and a sensitivity that emerges through every encounter. Behind each image lies a moment of observation, attentive listening, and a desire to create a connection with those she photographs. Through the different countries, contexts, and people she has encountered, Amel builds a sensitive archive of everyday life. Her photographs do not seek to capture “spectacular moments”; rather, they reveal what connects individuals through their shared humanity. A presence, a gaze, a posture, or a moment of silence become the witnesses of singular stories." words of the curatrice Sinda Drine
